If Kai knew the cost of his words, he might not have spoken. If Emi had been more observant, she wouldn't have been the center of a conspiracy. Maybe fate is in control. If not, Emi, Kai, Miles, Pablo, and everyone around them have made some pretty shitty choices. The year is 2249.
