Set in the early 90s, this story centers around a high school senior named Miranda, her twin brother, Lane, and her boyfriend, Scott. They live in Canterbury, a small suburb on the outskirts of Seattle. A once idyllic town, Canterbury has recently been plagued by strange disappearances and murders that are rumored to be linked to a serial killer.
Despite their best attempts to stay safe, the grunge-loving trio accidentally end up on the apparent killer's radar. They're quickly faced with a series of increasingly horrific events, and their only chance of ending them could come at a terrifying price. They soon find out the hard way that the only thing worse than a vampire is one whose penchant for murder existed long before joining the undead.

"I didn't think that the first night at my new college would end with me getting my back broken. And not in the fun way. I'm kind of annoyed about it. Not how I wanted to kick this year off. I got into my dream school, University of Miami. Big change from New York but I've loved this school since I found out what college was. I was looking forward to this for a while. I had decided to spend my first two years at a nearby community college to get my pre rec classes out of the way and save money. It was definitely a good idea, but the vibe of the school was: go to class, go home, and that's it. So to get to a big university I was excited for that cliche "college experience." I was excited to get shitfaced at a frat party, hookup with random guys, join a sorority and probably regret it. It's where you're gonna make the most mistakes, I mean it's the first time most people have complete, or almost complete freedom. Every adult ever always told me "college is where you're supposed to find yourself" and I was really hoping that would reign true. To kick the year off I wanted to have a fun night out with my new roommates who weirdly didn't have any social media so I was moving in with no prior knowledge of these two other than their names Victoria Brooks and Chloe Whitlock. I wanted to get to know them and get to know the area I'd be living in for the next two years. So it was pretty inconvenient for this shit to happen on the first fucking night." * * * * * Morgan Sinclair had expectations for her junior year at her new college: parties, roommates, clubs, friends, even classes and assignments. Among those expectations, was not: finding out about the existence of vampires and the fact that she is one. After one *almost* fatal night out she's forced to navigate a whole new reality. Vampires, lycans, a psychopathic father, betrayal, and blood- and it'll all take her away from everything and everyone she's ever known.

A tale that started back in a place further from home. A boy she remembers yet also forgets. Three years after returning to America, Selene finally finishes out her years as a college student, gearing up to graduate in her final and fourth year to complete a Bachelors in Art Sciences. She's set to graduate in three months in the state of Washington. The streets are quiet in her home neighborhood, but the city nights are always busy. Everything was going fine. She had her father's support, she was living in an apartment down in a city forty miles from Seattle and she drew quietly at home and went to school by day. She didn't even have to work so long as she had good grades, her father would pay her way. Then an unusual quiet night on campus sparked her curiosity. As the college closed up for the close of the quarter, she noticed them wandering the grounds. Four figures were hunched over at the fountain, one of them laughing loudly. She didn't usually pay any mind till she caught the reflection of one of their eyes, casting a yellow gaze back at her that shook her. A familiar look she couldn't place. She drew in closer, her voice timid to call out to them. Why did he come to mind? What happened to him after she was shot? She hardly could recall. Her mind was fuzzy with questions, but she began to notice more now that the group was either looming closer to her or she was drawing herself closer to them. When she got to them, the realization of what she did finally came to mind. This wasn't the type of can of worms she should have opened. Why couldn't she just remember to stay away?! *COMPLETE* UNRELATED!GRETHAN. "Then I heard something behind me, something like heavy breathing, like a person who'd been constantly running. I froze really stiff and the birds stopped their swooping. I think I must've stopped breathing, too. I turned and there was Grayson on the ground. I mean, he was crouched down. There he was: blood covering his chin, his eyes like two darts pointed right at me. He was panting, smiling, his hands dug into the dirt of the forest floor: all dark colored, all messed up. 'Ethan,' he whispered and for a moment, I didn't think I heard him." In Kettle, Minnesota, nerdy, reserved bookworm Ethan Lesnicki, and arrogant, conceited head football player Grayson Clark are best friends, though they share little in common. They share even less in common when Grayson mysteriously gains an appetite for human blood after a disastrous fire at a local bar. As Ethan's classmates are steadily killed in gruesome attacks, Ethan must uncover the truth behind Grayson's transformation and find a way to stop the bloodthirsty rampage before it's too late.
