Lightning McQueen - The name known across the country. You can't forget his name and he wouldn't let you if you tried. The debonair and mercilessly handsome up-and-coming rookie racer, Lightning, is aiming for the stars and not backing down. While some might say his pride and flamboyance are a hindrance to his racing he only sees them as strengths, meant to propel him to the top. But after an astonishing three-way tie at the Piston Cup race, he has to push himself to prove his worth. But things don't go according to plan. A crazy night out with his friends, an old rickety town forgotten by Hell itself, and a whole bunch of legally binding repairs stops this racer in his tracks. He must find a way to get free and back into training.
