The Leclaire Family.
The power and influence of this family began around medieval times. Their reign was powerful and influential. The family members were held tight by their tradition and the iron fist of their eldest member the feared vampire, Nicholas Leclaire. It was like one family divided into two sides. The human and the vampire side. Only the most important members knew about the existence of the dark side who reigned the immortal world during the night.
Nicholas's rules were not ones to be forgotten or ignored. He only allowed the human members to marry pre-selected royal people to keep his kingdom growing. The best ones would be selected to be transformed into vampires in a ritual called Embrace. So far he only chose three members before mysteriously disappearing Theodore, Leonel and Serena.
Theodore assumed the family leadership and over the years he embraced three royals. Erich, Richard and later on Lilith.
Time after time everything changed and the vampires decided to make their existence a secret. Ruling from backstage using the humans as mere pawns to achieve their best interests.
However one evening the controlled world of the Leclaires is surprised by the news of an unplanned child. A child that will shake their foundation and make them reevaluate everything they considered to be the truth.
How a vampire who for so long has been disconnected from his human emotions can raise a child?

If only she didn't die at such a young age. Married off to some "hero" of sort that had slayed the Dragon of the North who was terrorizing the land and threatened the kingdom, this hero also had an affinity for fire and held her in disdain like the rest of her family. Suddenly a girl of another world was transported to their world, picked up by this hero and put into his secure care. The pair soon fell for each other despite the hero's marriage, and many believed Laraine got jealous of this girl of mystery, and tried to kill her. This was definitely not true. But because the girl was favored by the temple and kingdom Laraine was quickly arrested and put on trial. You can probably tell what happened to Laraine. But something strange happened the day of her execution. As soon as her decapitated head hit the ground the sky turned blood red and it began to rain fire. No one survived that day. But for some reason time went back, and Laraine was back to being a child, but with no memory of her future. There were select few in her life, however, that remembered her tragedy and now perhaps will take action to prevent it. NOTE: I'M AWARE THERE ARE A LOT OF INCONSISTENCIES.
