In which Draco Malfoy meets a worthy opponent.
Fayette Nightshade was a force to be reckoned with at Beauxbatons Academy of Magic; her classmates knew her for her confidence, fierce loyalty, and outstanding magical abilities. Little did Faye know, both her worst and best qualities stemmed from deep in her family tree: she shares the blood of Voldemort himself, granddaughter to his unknown late twin sister.
Although Faye was never meant to learn the secrets behind her past, the threat of Voldemort's return prompts Albus Dumbledore to act and invite Faye to her rightful place as a student at Hogwarts. Fayette, now the only known living blood-relative of the Dark Lord, is faced with a frightening reality: she's a prize he plans on winning, and in the end, she will have to make a choice.
Despite the path that seems to lay itself out for her, Faye's determination to prove herself as a powerful witch based on her skills alone remains strong. She refuses to allow her blood to decide her fate. In her eyes, the answer is as simple as black and white.
Well, that's what she thought until she met Draco Malfoy. That boy is ANYTHING but black and white.
