The last thing Anna Hopkins needs in her life is another distraction. At just 29, she's on her way to becoming a top-level executive at one of the state's largest non-profit outreach organizations.

There's only one thing...or person standing in her path.

Christian Thompson.

At 30, he's learned that life is much more than work and he still managed to have a successful career.

His cavalier, hands-off "it's all good" attitude is almost too much for her to bear. Her "hands on", all work, no play mentality exhausts him. And when they are paired to lead a three-week outreach together, Anna and Christian are convinced God Himself is punishing them.
The only thing they have a few things in common, and the most obvious is that they have sworn off love for good. Besides, Anna is much too focused and Christian is having too much fun. However, Anna and Christian learn their mutual dislike is on shaky ground as assumptions are dispelled with truth as they brave the streets of Costa Rica together. The more they learn about one another, the more the promise they have made to themselves to avoid romance becomes more challenging.

Will Anna and Christian continue to be thorns in each other's sides or will they unify for the sake of good works....and each other?

Because life is too short to avoid saying how you feel...isn't it?

He's enjoying life.
