The predictions were correct, global warming took the earth. The animals that could not adapt to the new found heat died quickly. Many people began moving around, soon enough the earth population split in half. The buildings were overgrown, they became inhabited by the bigger groups of people, usually raiders. Money is no more, community is no more, technology is, no, more. This is a book in journal format. Find out what life has become. (I will say that I am not a time traveler so this is just me guessing here lol)

An Inch Of Infinity (Short Version)
In the near future the entire world is conquered by a group of people known as Royalties, or the Royals for short. They declared war on the planet. If you were not with them, you were against them. by the end of the 21st century the world was utter chaos and anyone who did not follow the laws to the letter were taken away by the Keepers. Immortal Planet
Earth is Dead, over population, no food, animal life reduced to just what you see in TV and in Zoo's are all that's left of Nature. Grass has been replaced with fake turf, tree's long gone for their lumber was not able to be regrown at a rate that could match the demand. Places like Alaska were populated so thick you could not find a square foot to stand on let alone live on. Families were living in small 20' by 20' cubicles that were stacked on each other like cords of wood. The Governments only option was to move into space and find new planets to colonize.
