When struggling teenage artist Ella Murphy accidentally draws a mystical symbol in the margins of her book, she is transported to a different world full of superheroes and villains. Upon arrival, she falls into the apartment of Jax Legion, an underperforming superhero with a dark past. Jax and his roommates discover Ella and when she demonstrates superpowers given to her by this new world, they recruit her to help them figure out how she got in. But for now, there's a superhero competition that Jax's team must participate in to prove themselves and win a spot in the Hero Hall of Fame. Can they stay focused as they're faced with new challenges at every turn?
