Encre was a young French man, living outside his childhood village in a cozy little cottage. He always had preferred a relaxing atmosphere for his works. But of course there's a downside to his relaxing life. Because right next to his house was the all too known forbidden forest.

Since he was little boy people always talked about 'beasts' living in the forests, and that it was more than dangerous to go there. Because everyone who was to enter them was never seen again, most likely killed by the bloodthirsty creatures living inside them.

But Encre was never really sure to believe that everyone of them was as bad as everyone thought. Who knows? Maybe they were just like the him? People who just want live their lives in peace. Even if it means to get their hands dirty.

But maybe he was just thinking to much about it and should take care of the things that were important right now. But that thought was already gone as soon as it came when he found a crying little vampire prince with an injured arm on his way to the forest.
