Wilbur struggled his whole life with overwhelming expectations. He felt as though he would never be good enough, he felt like a screw up. When screw up meets screw up, can they fix each other? Or will they just become a dumpster fire of trauma? 


This is my attempt at writing first person, I strongly prefer writing third person stories. But I thought it'd be fun to give this a try! This is a quackbur story that is pretty angsty. I'll put TW/CW when necessary.

So many heartbreaks. How many heartbreaks can one man take? It hadn't been many, but Quackity lost count quickly. Could he have another chance at love? But with who? After so many years of feeling dead, inside, and outside, he forgot how it felt to be truly happy. To be alive. To love. He completely forgot, after decades of limbo, he forgot how to truly live. Perhaps someone out there could make him feel himself again. All of this is written in a timeline that is close to the canon timeline that we are shown, but it is not exactly the same as you will read later on. This is all characters, even if Quackity's real name is used a few times, this is NOT shipping the CC's. No smut (SURPRISING FOR MY USUAL READERS!), just fluff, and angst. Mysterious disappearances and circumstances are starting to make more sense, and, unfortunately for Quackity, he now knows far too much to be left alone by a certain outcast vampire.
