For most of her life Chrys Englar has lived with an imaginary friend. This friend has never harmed her or altered her life in any way, so she saw no reason to tell anyone that she was there. She never stopped to consider the possibility that Lilith was more than an imaginary friend. And she never would have imagined that she was actually the most powerful sorceress the world had ever seen. Nothing leads her to question her strange friends origins until things in her life begin to change in ways that should have been impossible and the horrifying truth about Lilith is revealed. Facing the fact that she and her inner demon are inseparable, Chrys makes the decision to end her life, taking the the witch with her. This seems like the easiest thing to do until, once again, things change.
