It is not your typical love story, far from it, for it is tale of how two broken souls mend each other and repair the old, dead and buried hearts. And help them relearn their faith in what they have cast out as the devil's work.
It follows the tale of a somber, perplexed teenage girl with a mysterious past, abnormal life and no life goals nor the motivation whatsoever.
Named Ember. She had all she (thought) needed: a stable social life with a group of friends who adore her, and an apartment, what more could she ask for?
Her life was all roses and daisies, beautifully vain, till one day, a boy, who had a rare personality disorder, named Thato came into her life.
Everything began to change and fall apart, one part after the other, as her terrifying past, that she was desperately trying to bury, was catching up to her, causing a rift between her and her friends.
Her life flashed before her very eyes, stuck in a shell of what was, as she lost control.
At the same time, Thato had to find himself again, find his reason for being alive, and confront his feelings, face Ember or lose her in the brewing battle for her heart. While fighting for his dreams. His only hope is his self.
