Finally Love

What if the universe made it its mission to find a right time, no matter how many tries it took?

Mia Gomez and my neighbor Chase Winthrop, have not liked each other since the day they first met. Even as neighbors, our unspoken competitions and colorful name calling have brought nothing but headaches to our mothers.

Yet after a pool party gone wrong and a very awkward game of 7 minutes in heaven, there's a change in the air. Unlike every encounter she's ever had with Chase, she can't stop thinking about this. It was too intense, they got too close, and it all went too far for it to be one of their little games. They seemed to somehow crack the code to something they didn't know was even there and a tension neither of them wanted to acknowledge starts bubbling at the surface, changing the course of their hatred forever.

But things would never work out for them. Not now, and maybe not ever.

Unless they met again, as two different people rather than the reckless teenagers we once were.

Then and maybe only then, it'll finally be love.
