Heather Gibbs has always been praised for her beauty and intelligence. Every since she was born, everyone wanted to be her friend but as she grow older, every girl wanted to be her and every guy wanted her. To them, she was faultless with a flawless life.

 But that's what they saw. Not what it was.

Truth be told, her life was far from that. A dead dad and a raging alcoholic for a mother. "Mother" couldn't be bothered with Heather cause' she's too busy with her new boyfriend, Robert or as she likes to call him Roby Rob. Heather never got in the way of their relationship. She thought it was her mother's way of coping with her father death. Not that she was doing any better.

After her father's death, things took a turn for the worse. Her mom would get frustrated whenever she saw Heather and took it out on her in violent ways. And it didn't make it better as she was going through a break-up with an obsessive ex. As these events spiral into a series of unfortunate events, Heather goes through life struggle which eventually leads up into her demise.

The inspiration for this book was Heather by Conan Gray and "Heather's POV" by @tessablasko on Tiktok, a parody of Heather which goes into how Heather's puts up a front of how she actually feels. I just thought of this randomly, how I could turn it into something more sinister to show that pretty doesn't mean happy. Pretty doesn't mean satisfied. It doesn't free. And what better way to show that by writing a wattpad :)
