Alexandra Barton is on a trip to New York with her family, just trying to enjoy her Christmas. But when a ninja saves a dog, her holidays become anything but ordinary. How does she handle the change in plans and how does she react to the face behind the mask?
Author's Notes:
The chapter names are split up into parts. For example 3.2. The three is the Hawkeye episode that the plot comes from and the two is simply which part it is. So it is the second part of what I have written for episode three. If that makes sense and actually matters to you.
The chapters are going to be varying lengths, simply because of the way the writing splits up. Just a warning for anyone who might find that annoying, even though I'm pretty sure those people don't exist.

She was taken by HYDRA and experimented on. After S.H.I.E.L.D. got her out of there. A few weeks or so. She got captured by HYDRA again. After a few days, S.H.I.E.L.D. rescued her again and helped her find a place to stay, away from HYDRA and stay in New York. Years later, (Y/N) was walking into her home and found Nick Fury in her apartment. He told her was happened after she was away from S.H.I.E.L.D. and asks her to join the Avengers program. She agrees and now helps her team members with protecting New York and the world from threats. But what will happen when it comes to the endgame? Will she allow a team member take their life to save millions? Or will she use the stones herself to protect millions?
