The aroma of the two women wafted over me - the two loves of my life standing face to face for the first time. The scent of old paper on one, and the sugary-sweet smell of caramel drifting off the other. The clashing scents flowed into my nostrils. The tension between the two was palpable. I reached for the right words to say, but they weren't there. I knew that if one wrong word slipped from my tongue, World War III would start.
Meet Justus Carlson, your average bad boy, complete with a black leather jacket and skinny jeans. With a hard shell, but a soft heart, he struggles to balance his two loves and the fact that he wants to key his ex's car. What will happen when the two women meet? Only time will tell.

I look at California. She sits on my lap in the circle of us pot heads. She's not what I expected. She smokes she's the most sarcastic person I've ever met. She's smart but hates school. In the split second I see the skin I think I see a black crow with a green eye, but that's crazy. Only crow members can get crow tattoos and only descendants of the original crow can have the green eye. By tattoo that's on my lower back has a red eye. The red eye means non blood related member. But I have a smaller one with a blue eye beside it. The blue eye means leader. When California's biggest secret is discovered by her new boyfriend will she be able to keep her past and family secret the secret she wants it to be?
