Not long after the world forgets the identity of the mysterious Spider-Man, Peter sees an odd news reel, of another Spider-Man. The suit isn't familiar, and he definitely doesn't remember saving some kids from getting hurt, and most definitely getting stabbed in the process. (Though given the chance he totally would have)
Peter tries to find the identity of this kid. Or, at the very least, what he's doing. Being Spider-Man is dangerous work, after all, and you lose a lot of people.

I'm starting out a few weeks after Age of Ultron took place. Civil War will be a thing. Other than that I'm not too concerned about sticking to every canon detail and storyline.
