Usage of Moves and Magic are strictly prohibited. If one were to be caught using their powers, it's a crime punishable by death. Many generations after the law was made had lost control of how to access their power. Things resorted back to normal. Old style fighting methods. 
A war has broken out between two kingdoms. Without the usage of magic and powers it's brutal, and bloody. Many are lost. It's solved by an arranged marriage between the prince and princess of the kingdoms. Things are peaceful..
