Kitsune have more names than there are stars in the sky, but I only have one--Jack Jericho. Call Kon of the Many Tails whatever you want-fox-spirit, monster, kitsune, myth-to me, she's one thing-mom.
But everybody's got a past, and hers is about to catch up to both of us. I always knew there was more to her than keeping me safe during the war between Glass and Stone that almost took out a town called Dooms, Virginia. Hey, with a name like Dooms, I guess you should expect an apocalypse or two.
When I was a baby, my parents gave me to a crazy cult lead by a magic-wielding, Bible-beating psycho called the Glass Man. To get his way, he was willing to kill whoever he needed to. Even me. An army of monsters and people took him out before he could. Most people don't know about that stuff. People like thinking that magic is fake and that the world is boring. They want to believe that monsters are just things you read about in books. But a very real and powerful monster is coming after Kon and will stop at nothing to get her! No matter what, I'll die to keep her safe!
I may look normal, but I have a few tricks up my sleeve. To save Kon, I'm gonna have to fight my way past wolf-monsters, humanoid crows that call themselves the Widow Boys, and even more! I thought I knew what I should be afraid. I didn't. But I'm about to find out ...

Kitsune (Jack Frost x OC)
Kitsune: ~Noun~ A Japanese Fox spirit, normally female, said to have powers such as shapeshifting and whose power is symbolized by the increase in the number of tails. Mikoto does not recall who she was before, only what is now. She has the parts of a fox, the shape even if she wishes and control over fire. She does not know her purpose, but she tries her hardest to help children she meets in her travels. This is how she met Jack and quickly a friendship was formed. Now, he is called forward to help defeat Pitch and take his place as Guardian among the big 4. World Circuits
A whole world full of energy gives people powers. Powers called "Circuit Arts", give people different abilities. With unlimited possibilities, some range from turning invisible, to shredding people in an instant by looking at them. This world isn't inhabited only by people though, there are multiple races, and monsters of extreme power called "Blights". The oldest ones alive, look just like people, fitting in while massacring those who oppose them. The story begins as Riley, Lux, Val, and Esme try to kill the Blight organization called "The Children of God" and their journey towards their goal. - - This story is being made by three people, Night, Wolf, and AnonymousMood48. This is the first time we are doing this so the quality may not be top tier. Magic, monsters, mayhem ... and high school. What could go wrong? Everything! I'm a freak, but I've got the God-given sense to know to keep it a secret that I can use magic to lose some things and to find other things. As magic goes, it totally sucks, especially since I can't control it. I couldn't use it to find my brother and save him from a serial killer. So what good is it that I can lose a shoe and find a hubcap? Some people do think I'm extra special, though. I don't know how they found out about me, but the Stone Men and their Black Dogs are after me every chance they get. It's their job to keep magic a secret and make you think the world is normal. The Glass Man's out to get me, too. He's just out to make everybody his psycho slave. There's a war coming between Stone and Glass, and I'm right in the middle. But this war isn't just about hidden magic and humans. When you're a little kid, your parents tell you that there isn't any such thing as monsters. Well, they're lying. Some monsters want to offer you a deal, and some, well, some just might end up your best friend. Others, they just want to eat you. Belief The strongest thing in the world. It can give someone hope when everything seems lost and a feeling of power when you think that you can fight no more. Belief can make anything stronger, more alive and truer. From belief is how many religious gods got a name, how legends and stories are being formed. It all starts with a name and one believer. The light spreads, from person to person and that name gains power. Slowly, it is more believed in and that name gets a form, then a face and then existence. This is how the fairy tails came to be. How the protectors and the enemies of the children appeared and how they exist up until today. However, just like in every situation, there is a catch. A small area that is not white or black but grey. There, no side can be taken, and no rules apply the same. In the case of fairy tales, you have the light side with the Guardians and the spirits; tasked to protect their children. On the other side, you have the Boogieman and those who want to harm and terrorize the innocent bright souls of young children. And in the middle, in the grey zone, you have a single lonely figure with a task no one else wants, a task that makes them receive hatred and fear instead of admiration and love. And that person carries it without a word of complaint. That person is Thanatos but nowadays, she goes by Grim Reaper...the Guardian of Life and the outcast of the Big Five.Complete

Jacob's hands went into fists to keep from pushing at his hair. The tree behind them began to shake slightly. Family adversaries threaten everything while influential other worldly authorities pull the strings.
