The creatures in the woods

Every summer, Aiden's family visited a small, quaint town in the middle of a forest. Every summer, he recalls seeing a strange creature somewhere near. As he grows older and the visits stop, he writes it off as his childhood imaginations and the memories almost slip his mind. Now, after learning that the creature was real, he's determined to go back to the forest and find it again.

He soon learns that his quest is harder than he emancipated, most of the locals refuse to talk to him, and the creatures seem to know he's after them. Can he find a way to stop them before they get to him? With just one friend having his back, the task seems impossible, but he'll be damned if he doesn't try. Besides, it's not like he can leave. Not anymore.
