Teenage Avalon Briggs has a perfect life. A perfect family, a perfect mom, dad, sister, and brother, a perfect house, and a perfect personality. One night as she was sleeping, a fire broke out in the kitchen. She woke up right when she heard the sound of smoke. She grabbed her phone, and ran out of the house screaming fire, she dialed 911. She couldn't say anything from the panic she was having. Firemen and women showed up and it took about three hours the shut the fire off. She was the only one to make it out... It takes her half a day of living in the police station, till they find an orphan house for her, this orphanage is quite weird, it's just a huge house. But the people in it are the weirdest thing about this orphanage.... What sucks, is this orphanage is across the country...

This story is about a girl called Vanessa. She is fifteen and has three brothers so as you can imagine she can take a punch. She was tough and strong and has a very crazy sense of humour and loves pranks. And her whole family are werewolves. At school one day she sees this group of guys beating up another guy so she steps in and beats the guys up. About a week later when they are out for dinner in respect of their sister that died at birth. When they arrive home they find their house in flames being fought by firemen. It was all burnt to a crisp. Nothing could be saved. Except a heart shaped locket that belonged to her mum who died almost three years ago. It was pure gold.
