He knew a boy that forgets after the drink, same as everybody else. That boy got lost in the smoke and its smell, in the liquid, in the aesthetic. Maybe he just tried to find a way back. Maybe he got lost like that time every time. Maybe that's why he forgot, as every time. Maybe he just went the way he always did when he got lost, or maybe he really meant it and just forgot the feeling, but these are just a maybes. Nick also thought of a maybe before.
