Historical fiction/fantasy set in Llyonnesse during a time like the early Medieval era in Britain. The story centres around two boys, 15 year old Uwain ad his 8 year old slave Tân, both of whom have a greater destiny than either of them know. They grow towards manhood in a kingdom rent by war between rival claimants to the High Kingship, while two powerful magicians, one good, one bad, vie with each other to influence the course of events.

The characters are my own . The cover image is my photo and shows part of Carew Castle, Wales.

In this gripping tale set in a war-torn world, the story follows Faythistle, an elf from a secluded village, whose tranquil life is shattered when her village is raided and destroyed. Only Faythistle survives, and driven by the need to rescue her captured friend, she ventures into the perilous human world she knows only through dark stories told by her elders. As she navigates this dangerous new world, she encounters a wounded soldier, Commander Drake. Despite her ingrained distrust of humans, her innate compassion as a healer compels her to save his life. Grateful and recognizing her vulnerability, Drake decides to protect Faythistle by bringing her into his squad, disguising her as his personal healer to shield her from the prejudices and dangers posed by his men. Together, they traverse the war-ravaged lands, with Faythistle gradually learning the complexities of human society and the rules that govern it. As they journey, she harbors a secret hope to rekindle the lost treaty between humans and elves and to find her dear friend. Throughout their travels, Faythistle and Drake develop a deep bond of mutual respect and understanding, challenging their preconceived notions about each other's races. Their relationship evolves into something deeper, adding layers of emotional complexity to their quest. This tale is one of resilience, compassion, and the quest for peace in a world marred by conflict. It explores themes of trust, differences, and the possibility of unity amidst chaos. How Faythistle and Drake will navigate their growing feelings and the tumultuous world around them promises to be a journey full of adventure, danger, and heart.

Gideon Saint is dying for something exciting to happen in his life. With his love of history, he figures an internship at the museum has to be a good start, right? Anything is better than listening to his parents argue or sitting alone in his room doing research no one but him seems to care about. A chance encounter with a magical ring leaves him transported to an alternate version of ancient Wales, or as it was sometimes called, Cambria. 1432 Wales, to be exact. Here magic is the most powerful weapon of all as kings vie for power. Good thing Gideon's teleportation from the present has also left him with the ability to use magic, and he's quickly regarded as a powerful wizard. In this timeline, Wales maintained it's independence, but that's about to change. Henry V is on the throne of the England, and the greatest warrior king England has ever had has set his sights on Wales. Can Gideon help save his newfound friends and master his new powers, while living a double life in the 21st century? Ahem, living people die, dying people live, Henry V is here and he's awesome despite being the main antagonist, everybody is vaguely gay, swords are described in loving detail, people are not, lovely platonic friendships, did we mention swords? Yes, you may learn something about history, but that's a risk you'll have to take. Basically, think of this as a Percy Jackson type of adventure, but it's historical fiction instead of Greek gods. The narrator is 15 and the major supporting characters are 14, 17, and 19. That said, there's nothing in the way of content that's inappropriate for a younger reader. As always if you're not here to go on a fun little adventure find a different story. Trigger/Content: very mild language, some magic violence, fantasy violence. Self-harm is briefly discussed. Adoption issues are discussed as well as brief scenes of a abusive family. Characters briefly mention crushes and or dating, no real innuendos.
