The Chikafuji family was unique. They were a high-status family in Japan, known for importing precious stones from the West and making jewelry for the social elite throughout the region. There was, however, a part of them that was unknown to the public eye. The Chikafuji family came from a long line of demon slayers, being direct descendants of the first-ever breath users. From generation to generation, the men served as faithful hunters for the demon slayer corps, while the women maintained order within the family business. It was a dynamic maintained for centuries but was ultimately destroyed when the eldest daughter ran away to become a demon slayer.
