Zedikai Haida wasn't living the life he thought he'd be living at twenty-one. He was picking up a drug habit, smoking more than he liked, went through periods of indefinite homelessness, and worst of all had to sell his body to keep himself fed. The only thing getting him through was his dream, one that he had to keep secret lest those in his life try to take it away from him.
As if fate had smiled down on him, Zedikai was given a chance to change his life for the better in the form of an unfamiliar alien with long black hair and luminous blue eyes. Even as his dream started to feel within reach, he was unprepared for the sacrifices and changes he'd have to make to grab onto it.
