Angels aren't myths. They are indeed, very real; and they sure as hell aren't the creatures myths portrayed them to be. They're ruthless, bloodthirsty creatures.
But they weren't always like this...
Centuries ago, Angels basked in the clouds of heaven as guardians of mankind. That was until evil infiltrated their ranks and forced the angels to fall. As a last resort, Archangels Michael and Gabriel named six mundane children who would be born centuries later on the same wholly day. Zofia, Eden, Ramona, Elek, Bao, and Asmund. Eighteen years after their births, they would come into their angelic powers and fulfil their destiny as the Champions of Shangri-la.
But that's if they reached 18 first...
Little do the six know about the world they are about to be thrown into. The Darkest Diviner is out for blood, and the six Champions of Shangri-la are Earth's only hope of Salvation. Will they succeed? Or will they join the mundanes in the pits of hell?

Can you imagine being the town mortician's daughter? I can because I am. Imagine me, little, quiet Emily, being teased everyday because my father takes care of dead people. I have one friend, Becky, who by the way has a lower popularity rank then I do. Then imagine this: your school wins a contest. But not any contest like a million dollars, more like a millionaire band. Black Veil Brides. Its only until she touches the wings that she realises that they are very much real. Within an instant, Mira's life is turned upside down. Knowing now that angels and demons are real and have been living amongst humans on earth for decades, she decides she needs to learn more about them and about the sight that she was gifted by this mysterious angel, Jenziel. One other thing bothered Mira. Where were the other women with the sight and why was she the only one to be gifted the sight? Did it have something to do with the broody, burly, yet strikingly handsome fallen angel who undoubtedly looked like he was dying to kill her? With Lucifer's demons hunting her down, time is running out for Mira. If Lucifer get his hands on her, he will use her to spawn more advanced demons. Can the fallen keep her and the rest of the mortals safe? Angels & Demons
In a new world, there is no God. There are Heaven and Hell, there is Lucifer the King of Hell and in Heaven, there is a council which is made up of Gabrielle, Michael, and Raphael. The Bible only mentions the names of four angels from the countless millions that have been created. No one knows who created them, or how they found their way. They are Gabrielle, whose name means, "God is Mighty", Michael, whose name means, "Like God", Raphael, whose name means, "God Heals", and Lucifer, whose name means, "Light Bearer". All of them were good and held the peace of Heaven for eons. During this time, they created Earth. It was created so that they could trail run a new species, called Humans. But before they could really monitor the succession rate or oversee what was happening on Earth, Lucifer struck. It was Lucifer who rebelled against the others and who through pride, coveted the Throne of God and the worship that belonged to all of them equally. This resulted in a mighty war in Heaven. Lucifer, along with one-third of the angelic host was defeated by the Archangel Michael and was cast down from Heaven to the earth where he became known as "Satan", a name which literally means; "Adversary" as well as "Devil", which means, "Accuser of the brethren." After Jesus, who was meant to show Humans how to live, was crucified Lucifer swore he would bare a child onto the Earth and that child would be the end of the Human race and in return, Michael, Gabrielle, and Raphael said when the time came, they too would create a son to fight this devil child. They didn't have the gentle grace and calm demenor that angels do; they were defiant, ruthless, and far to eager for battle. After the Angels had a scuffle with the fire Lords, whose realm was not as calm as Heaven, Andy and the other four damanded that they fight and "show those candle sticks an angel's true power!" They were promptly cast down to earth. The Elder's conferred with the Lord, and all came to the agreement that they no longer had the purity of heart to belong in Heaven any longer. Stripping them of their powers and practical immortality, the Lord cast them out the gates and struck them to earth, where they could see the horrors of war they so desired. Their wings turned black as they fell and became earth bound, unable to fly again. They crashed in an open field, far outside the city, creating large craters from the impact of speed. As they lay, unconscious and bleeding, the last bit of God-like resistance and healing genes faded from them, leaving them good as human, except for the large black wings that they could bring out at will. You live far off in the country, and are a lover of nature and quiet. This warm spring morning, your usual walk in the fields behind your house takes you to the discovery you thought quite impossible to make. Hi. My names Lizzie, I'm 19 and I have no friends what so ever. Why? Because I'm an outcast. No one seems to like the way I dress or the music I listen to. All through high school I had death threats posted in my locker as well as on them, I was pushed and tripped, and so on. The list goes on forever. I've come to the fact that no one will ever love me, not even my own family. Going to concerts of my favourite bands are the only time I feel like I fit in. That was until I went to a Black Veil Brides concert in Los Angeles, California. A group of kids decided to surround me during Black Veil Brides set, they would call me names, and occasionally shout stuff out to the band. But then they take it to the next level. They hit me.
