When you hear about Henrik Mikaelson, you figure out that he's the catalyst of the fall of the Mikaelson family and the start of the Originals.

You leave it at that because the dead stays dead right?

What most don't know is that he never died, well technically he did.

But. 

We're forgetting the key that his mother was literally the best at dark magic, kinda.

So she tried her best to either bring him back or make sure he never dies again.

Things didn't go exactly as planned. He stayed dead and that was that. Nobody but the spirits knew about Esters' trials to be like Frankstein.
