Dance is the way to the heart. At least that's what Lune Parker says. She's never known what's it's like to have family. That is until she meets Moose and the Pirates. They were the crew she never knew she needed. They helped her loosen up and be more outgoing. It might even spark a romance with a certain curly headed boy.

Moose X OC hit #1 Moose, 02/18/2022

(Edited) but it still might be slightly poorly written because I'm lazy lol.

Band aids were always a must have when we were kids. Whether it was the time you tripped while skipping rope, or fell off the monkey bars, or got into one of those fights with the local bully, "No, that won't do" "What are you talking about, it sounds great so far! It's a lot better than what I can do." "This college essay has absolutely no direction". "Well, why are you telling me to come read it so far? Can't you just ask Josh- I mean, he's smart-" He shot up from his desk. "You know I can't do that!" "Oh yeah. Right, sorry. Look, why don't you ask him out already". Noah blushed furiously. I can't do that. What if he's not... you know... into guys? A-and we're already good friends, I don't want to risk our friendship over this. I saw what he meant. He stopped writing and looked up at me. I asked him, "Would you spend the rest of your life with him?" He sighed and put his hand over his heart. "Of course I would. He means everything to me". "Well, I know you'll take good care of him. Just try to ask him out to the dance. He paused, and smiled. "You know what, maybe I will. Thanks Sadie". "No problemo,'' I grinned. As I turned to leave, he stopped me. "And who might you ask out to the dance?" --- Sadie Hawkins is your average tomboy soccer girl. Her best friend Noah is a good student and a bit of a nerd. As the day of the school dance draws nearer, they are more pressured to ask out the people they like. But what happens if the people they like happen to be their closest friends? Updates every Monday!

"Then my mind must just imagine the way you react to my touch. The way you shiver when I'm close to you, the way your breath catches when I whisper in your ear," he said, his voice growing huskier as he leaned in closer. I could feel the heat radiating from his body, the intoxicating scent of his cologne filling my senses. His words, his proximity, everything about him was making it harder to maintain my composure. "And the way your pulse quickens," he continued, his fingers lightly grazing my wrist, "like it is right now. The way your lips part, waiting for my kiss. The way your body leans in, even when your mind says no." My heart was pounding, and I hated that he was right. I could feel the pull, the undeniable attraction that I was trying so hard to deny. Carter's eyes locked onto mine, and I could see the confidence there, the certainty that he had me figured out. "Admit it," he murmured, his breath warm against my skin. "You want this. You want me." ✺✺✺✺✺✺✺✺✺✺ When 17-year-old Olivia Hayes is unexpectedly paired with Carter, the skilled and charismatic dance captain, for a challenging duet, her life takes an unexpected turn. Struggling to meet the high expectations of the performance and facing jealousy from fellow dancers, Olivia feels the pressure mounting. Adding to her stress is her complicated friends-with-benefits relationship with her crush, Jason. Jason, however, remains fixated on his ex, leaving Olivia caught in a web of confusion and heartache. Amidst the chaos, Carter becomes a surprisingly welcome distraction. But as Olivia and Carter grow closer, she starts to wonder: is Carter just a fleeting escape, or could he be something more? In a whirlwind of dance, drama, and teenage tumult, Olivia must navigate her feelings and find out if she has the courage to embrace the unexpected path her heart might lead her on.
