After a rain-carried virus wiped out nearly everyone in Scandinavia and took with it the world as we know it. Danish siblings, Simone and her younger brother Rasmus Andersen, along with their friend Alma Jensen, emerge from the safety of the bunker they had been hiding in for the past six years.

After discovering all remnants of civilisation gone, they join a ragtag group of fellow young survivors and together they head out on a danger-filled quest throughout the abandoned world in search of the Andersens' father.
