I was a professor of philosophy and my job was to distinguish whether the person I was talking with was AI or not. If they were, they would be destroyed.
I interrogated two people, who claimed to be human. One recited a part from a movie and spoke with intense passion, whereas the other spoke with rational facts and had a sense of humour.
Was the one that didn't recite from a movie human? I chose to destroy him.

It begins near the end, with a man intent on destruction, who feels most of his humanity has gone. As with so many others. Set in a future where almost all sentient life on earth no longer exists. And considered the following: Would a machine entity recognize the distinction between itself and biological life - if it could replicate thought and action? And if it could recreate the exact function of a living being what difference does it make whether as flesh or machine? He's like a machine. He hates to be touched. He hates anything to be non-sanitized. He can't stand human emotion. He fakes a personality, just to seem okay. He hates technology, but is nothing without it. He's a professor to the class, but supposed to be a student. He teaches the same thing everyday, but was meant to be there only to learn. And then he loses control, unable to be a machine any longer, he begins to realize worshiping technology is nothing but a curse. Two people live in two different worlds. One lives in a humble city that surrounds a tall artificial mountain. The other lives in a perfect city atop that mountain. From a young age, they have been taught that the other side was dangerous. For a young man, he was told they were synthetic monsters on top of the mountain. For a young woman, she was told dangerous beasts surrounded the mountain.
