This is a story set in the early twentieth century Florida and "The Burnadette's", a family who tries to conquer it. They come to Florida from Pennsylvania in hopes of starting up a plot of land they buy with a mysterious house. They face the wilderness of the land and the beast's that roam it. Friends turn to enemies and there is a secret on the land that the Burnadette's uncover. Through a perilous journey through the past and the present, the struggle of Florida they face is prehistoric. People move to Florida in hopes of taming an untamable land. Take a trip into the unknown and prepare for the unraveling mystery which is called Florida.
