Everything was lost in one fall. Of wind, of snow, of ashes. Idalia Reicher can still taste the cold mixing with fire when she wakes in the dark, a scream fading from her lips. In her broken world, the only thing she has left is her purpose: to kill at order. Her former partner, too, knows terrors of blood and ice in the dark. He knows two things. That one, he is the Winter Soldier, with one purpose: to kill at order. And two, there is something in his mind that calls to the before. In a world wracked by shadows from here and beyond, they both know one thing: that they are the shadows. And they cannot be the light. ***the POVS will skip around a little bit for better context :)))***

Thought to have been dead, Jane Beckham "Becky" Barnes returns as the ghost story, the Winter Solider. She lives a confined life filled with torture and murder. She helps shape the world in the worst ways possible. While on a mission, she meets a person that could compromise the Winter Soldier and Hydra altogether. Here is Becky, lost in the shadows. WARNING!! This story may not be suitable for people under the age of 15 due to some language. I do not own any characters. Just a simple fanfic. WILL POST BUCKY/SEB GIFS CAUSE WHY THE HELL NOT. ;)
