[ Book 2- SEQUEL to Spots Off ]
"So, you're a fighter, Marinette Dupain-Cheng," Monsieur Paon interrupts.
"H-How do you know my name?" I cough out.
Monsieur Paon kneels beside me, ignoring my question, and as he raises his hand, I flinch-fully expecting him to hit me-but he gently touches my forehead. "You're bleeding," He points out.
"W-What?" I ask, confused. I stare up at him. Why isn't he hurting me? Sure, he doesn't know I'm Ladybug (so technically I'm not an enemy right now), but he's partners with Miss Farfalle-who likes to wreak chaos in this city-so any bystander is an enemy worth fighting, right?
"Are you okay?"
I ignore the pain as I sit up and ask him, "What's wrong with you?"
He laughs. "Excuse me?"
"I know who you are, Monsieur Paon. You're that new villain attacking Paris," I remind him. "Why are you being nice to me?"
Monsieur Paon stands and offers his hand. "Would you rather I wasn't? Do you want me to treat you like those two men did?" I glance back at them and before I can ask, he adds, "I didn't kill them-although they'd deserve it and I'm sure your boyfriend would agree with me-in case you were wondering."
I stare up at Monsieur Paon. If he were going to hurt me, he'd have let those two men carry on with what they were planning. He wouldn't have gone through the trouble of saving me... right?

Two new villains debut in Paris-Miss Farfalle and Monsieur Paon.
As the new Guardian, Marinette works day and night to uncover her newest enemies' secret identities while Adrien starts distancing himself with a terrible secret.

Everything is normal, with fathers trying to battle their sons and their partners to give up magical jewelry. The jewelry giving each of them the ability to be more than their normal selves for the time being, and as if it was enough, we bring in teen drama. The famous model Adrien Agreste who spoiler alert, is our dreamy, humorous Chat Noir. He is madly in love with our amazing superhero Ladybug, who also happens to be our ray of sunshine Marinette Dupan-Chang. So now that we have our two lovers who have no idea of the other's identity and not to bring more drama to the love square, there is an additional character that I would like to introduce. Spidergirl because who doesn't love a little splash of their favorite superhero universe. Especially having a huge crush on spiderman, the author had to find a way to include this into one big dreamy fantasy. So as Hawkmoth lays low, some may say it's pure coincidence, but the new girl comes into the city and takes all the attention, which leaves our bubbly Marinette jealous as her crush Adrien takes an interest in her. Not to rub more salt into her wound, Chat Noir has his eyes on the new hero as well. So as things seem to bump in Marinette's life, she can't help but blame it on Hawkmoth and accuse Spidergirl of being akumatized. Although her behavior isn't her usual self, will she convince Chat Noir that Spider girl is indeed working with their enemy, or is she going to push away her friends and seem like the bad guy?
As much as I tried to stop thinking about my obsession with Spiderman and the Marvel Universe, Ladybug reminded me so much of it. So here I am writing my fantasies together, rather than separating them.
