An alternate universe retelling of Riftan and Maxi's wedding based in present day Anatol inspired by Kim Su-ji's Under the Oak Tree series.
In this world Riftan Calypse (and the rest of the UTOT cast) are unaware that they may be a reincarnation of their past lives but they aren't aware fully aware of it. They know that they feel drawn to each other and drawn to the historic Anatol fortress that is now a public museum and park and event venue. This is where Riftan meets his now fiancé, Maximilian, a well known academic and researcher in their city. They feel as if they've known each other forever. This is the story of their modern wedding.
