At the age of 9, Dream was moved into a Florida housing building for cancer patients. He had been diagnosed with a sarcoma cancer that just seemed to be relentless. After Growing to the age of 13 he was tired of making friends, watching them recover, then leave; so he closed off any optional socialization. Only leaving his room to go to treatment and to eat; always at night when no one else was in the community kitchen.
Now as a 21 year old he has held his choice strong, being as stubborn as his cancer. ......Until he can't ignore the new patient carrying the same cancer as him.

The Rink
George, a high school student content in his routine of going to school then roller skating for hours on end, is in for a shock when a new kid is hired at the skating rink he frequents. New-hire Dream is a strong-willed nineteen-year-old (nephew to the owner of the skating rink) who already seems to be butting heads with George. At first Dream appears to be private about his personal affairs by withholding certain details of his life from George, but he soon finds George to be a great comfort and support when he falls on hard times. As George learns more about Dream's shocking past, will their strikingly different upbringings lead to a difference in priorities, or can their undeniable attachment to one another help form a lasting relationship between the two? Out Of Control
George hasn't had an easy life after being diagnosed with autism. Going to a public school as an autistic, highly intelligent boy, he clearly notices the differences between his classmates and himself, giving him a lot of insecurity and shame about his own behaviour. As his escape, he goes to a bakery for hours a day to calm his mind, but things change when a new boy who moved is hired. Unexpectedly, and for the first time, George decides to open himself up to the new boy, Clay, while at the same time, Clay slowly starts falling for his new best friend, George. Mostly fluff with some angst every now and then! ⚠️ I wrote this book from my own experience and my own mindset, as someone with diagnosed autism, highly intelligent and ADHD. I DON'T think people with autism are childish or cute, I'm not projecting a stereotype. George is exhausted from living in his toxic home where he's bullied by his brothers and treated harshly by his homophobic foster parents, and in his circumstance he can't run away, so his only solution is being consensually kidnapped. His best friend Sapnap apparently knows a certain someone that can 'do the job', and when he reveals that this person he was talking about is a mafia boss, George gets a little nervous, but he isn't about to back off on his plan. Clay is traumatised by his past and becomes cold and emotionless, hurting himself to feel something while his life is filled with emptiness. His parents are hopeless and don't know how to help him anymore while he games all day and skips school. George struggles with an eating disorder and seeks help on the wrong sites, meeting a coach who is "eighteen" years old. George trusts him and ends up sending him pictures of himself without anything on, not realising the terrible effects of this. His escape is to game as well, meeting an emotionless person who appears to have a soft spot for him. Will they be able to help each other? Clay on the other hand, despite having two dads was homophobic, he despised his dads and how they held one another in each other's arms. But that was all a mask only he didn't dare to admit it. After all the rough times he had gone through, he was not longer the one who was bullied. He was the bully. It was for sure that George wasn't going to be able to keep wearing dresses in secret forever, it was only a matter of time until people found out, but how would everyone respond?
