I walked onto the soccer field. Today I am supposed to excel, but I can't help but feel tired. For a while now, I have been having life-like dreams. But dreams are just dreams, right? Technically I'm sleeping, so the question remains, why am I tired when I wake?
I shook my head, my thoughts leaving me.
I look around the field, waiting for my classmates to arrive. I sit down on the dry grass. Although I dance, I would still be able to perform well when it comes to soccer. Or any kind of sport for that matter. I look up to the sky. I can feel how tired I am throughout my body. The sounds and voices around me get louder as I close my eyes. More and more people join the soccer field.
And then, through all the noise, a familiar voice hits my ears.
I jump up, startled as I stand there. I scan the field around me but fail to see where it came from. The voice I've come to love so much, the one I've only heard in my dreams, disappeared into the crowd on the field.
