I walked onto the soccer field. Today I am supposed to excel, but I can't help but feel tired. For a while now, I have been having life-like dreams. But dreams are just dreams, right? Technically I'm sleeping, so the question remains, why am I tired when I wake?
I shook my head, my thoughts leaving me.
I look around the field, waiting for my classmates to arrive. I sit down on the dry grass. Although I dance, I would still be able to perform well when it comes to soccer. Or any kind of sport for that matter. I look up to the sky. I can feel how tired I am throughout my body. The sounds and voices around me get louder as I close my eyes. More and more people join the soccer field.
And then, through all the noise, a familiar voice hits my ears.
I jump up, startled as I stand there. I scan the field around me but fail to see where it came from. The voice I've come to love so much, the one I've only heard in my dreams, disappeared into the crowd on the field.

Hi! Just a quick note, if you don't like the lgbtqia+ community or really cliché romantic books, then this is not the book for you. I suggest you check out other writers on wattpad. Anyway, if that is what you're looking for then I hope you enjoy!:)

I'm Finn Vasco but that's not quite important right now. I'm a pretty sarcastic guy if I'm gonna be honest. I'm closed off and I literally only have one friend. I might hate everybody in my school... but there's this guy there. He's... let's say, dreamy, someone who I thought would never even acknowledge my existence. That guy who was too damn good to be true, who was too good for me, who was too good for... everybody! You get what I'm trying to say. He's that cliché king of the campus and a popular and attractive heartthrob and with just one wink, he can send people on their knees... That sounded so wrong, anyway. So can you blame me for being over the moon when one day, he approached me only to what? ...To ask for my help courting my freaking best friend. I knew it was stupid for me to hope I'd even have any chance with him anyway. So I just agreed to help him. Even if I was hurting myself and potentially my best friend in the process, my best friend who has been there with me through the thick and thins, I still did it... I mean what could go wrong besides literally everything? So my plan was to just set my crush and my best friend up, and then everything would be alright... right? But of course, life doesn't like it when people have it easy. *** Highest Ranking #2 on #lgbtfiction #5 on #boyxboy #6 on #gay #8 on #teenfiction *** ~ WARNING: This story contains strong language and bullying. SCIENCE-FANTASY/ ROMANCE/BL The new kid had an aura that set him apart from everyone Joe had ever encountered. It was as if he were a puzzle piece that didn't quite fit, yet he seemed passionately determined to carve out his place in the crowd. With his brightly colored hair that swayed in defiance of the usual norms and an eclectic wardrobe that screamed individuality, he was a walking canvas of rebellion and creativity. Joe couldn't shake his curiosity about this enigmatic newcomer. What was it about this fresh face that captivated him so deeply? Was it merely the striking exterior, or was there a richer story woven beneath that vibrant surface? As he observed the subtle nuances in the new kid's expressions and gestures, Joe found himself pondering the layers of identity, searching for the truths hidden just beyond the façade. It ignited a flicker of fascination within him-one that begged to be explored. An otherworldly boyxboy tale... I wish to edit this story and make few changes but I am wrapped up in others. This is my first attempt at writing so... hope you like. Edits may happen in time but for now, the story will remain as is. At the age of Seven, Christian came out to his parents. His parents accepted him with open arms but with concerns the world may not, they took matters into their own hands. They raised Christian to be a confident, strong minded young man with the capability of defending himself both mentally and physically. Christian was ready to tackle the world and everything he loved, including Football. At the age of fourteen, he decided he would spend his summer at a well known football camp to perfect his skills. That's where he met his first love and boyfriend, Billy, who disappeared the last week of camp. Four years later, when a new student named William transfers to his school, it throws Christians life into chaos. William reminded Christian of Billy. He was convinced his lost love had been found. One problem, William insisted he wasn't this Billy person Christian assumed him to be. Will Christian ever learn of what happened to his lost love or ruin everything he's worked so hard to accomplish in his attempts to find the truth?
