When thinking of people and elements. One is drawing power from a natural place.
Deriving in it, bringing knowledge from it, and showing mastery on it.
All thus from this showing, one can attain this willed power from 1 natural element to up to 4 natural elements.
Elements have caused will and knowledge to be used for strategies and ways of combat. Showing the many benifits that came like higher attack power of that native element and resist or immune defenses to that element as well. Showing that however came the negative sides to elements like being decreased in power and weakened to a certain element or causing no damage to one element.
As far as speed, endurance, strength, and power goes... high discipline surpasses the need here of them all. For what is wielding the elements without it?
The knowledge overtime wasn't only used for combat, but was used and inhibited passively as well. It allowed many things to be created within elemental areas like potion

[UNEDITED] In the year of 3204, the people on Earth are at war with aliens from Mars, human-alike beings with supernatural powers. Over the last thousand years however, humans have evolved. Each human now possesses one of the four elements of nature: fire, water, air, earth - earning the name Elemental. To learn how to control the element, they go through training academies, to among other things find their elemental partner. Here's where we meet Breeze, a Junior-Elemental controlling the element of air, still struggling with putting his right emotions when connecting to the element. Taunted by his older brother Rain, and his Elemental partner Ember, the insecurity within takes control of his element. Rising of the Weakest Mage
(Please read first two chapters for info, thank you!) For a long time, elemental magic has been widely known, used, and practiced. Elemental magic is based upon the four core elements - Earth, Air, Fire and Water. Elemental magic is most prominent in England, where many mages gather to learn and research elemental magic. However, during the early 1500's, the Fire Outbreaks happened. Several various fire mages suddenly swept through and destroyed the smaller cities of England, killing many in their way and leaving no survivors. Due to this the Council of Magic, the governing figure of elemental magic, issued an act - The Anti-Fire Act. This effectively banned any and all use of fire magic within all of England. The Council of Magic was later changed to the Triumvirate in the 1540's, and from then on are set on killing off every last fire mage. Allen Fleming, a 15 year old air mage, wishes to attend the Magical Knights Academy. The academy is where many young, prominent mages attend to improve their use of magic, and eventually become a magical knight. Magical knights are the respected mages who protect the cities of England and keep its citizens safe. But in order to even attend the academy, Allen must first pass the entrance exam. However, Allen's magic is extremely weak and he relies mostly on his physical fighting ability. Air is considered the strongest element within England, and with his lack of air magic prowess, many mages hate and ignore him. But what many do not know, is that Allen possesses a second element - the fire element! Without knowing who his real parents are, and having to keep his fire magic a secret, Allen has to work hard if he ever wishes to become a magical knight and achieve his goals. However, with tensions rising within the Triumvirate, fire mages on the run, and other events happening behind the scenes, Allen must go from being the weakest to the strongest if he even hopes to stop what may be coming in the near future.Complete
World's Collide
(Btw, I am really bad at summary's but here goes nothing!) In a separate dimension, much different then ours, lives a land called Elementia. Elementia is a place where every element of different kinds, live in pure harmony. Each element live in different towns, controlling their majors and helping other dimensions, such as ours, live. They control our winds and our seas. They deliver newborn trees and creatures of the wilderness. And they bring the least bits of purity to all lands in each Dimension and Galaxy. Everything was bliss, cheerful, and active, until Queen Europhia, Queen of all elements combined, announced a strange and dark presence approaching their land. She called the most powerful elementals of Elementia to fight off the darkness that approach their land. Five brave souls will come front and figure out the troubles of what their land might fight. Will they win or will they lose? (How was that? Anyway, in some parts of the story, I will add your own characters if you want. Just so you know, the 5 souls are - Nature and shadows, ice and water, fire and time, moon/darkness and wind, sun/light and lightning, time. I was think of letting in your elementals (oc) to make the story more interesting. If you wanna add your own character in, just private message me and I'll see. Soon Mia discovers that peace isn't as easy as it seems, and while Earthe may be beautiful, there are dark parts that are creeping back to the light. Even in a world of perfect beings such as elves, lies can be spun as precisely as an arrow can pierce a target, and evil can sneak up on you when you least expect it. Mia is used to reading about this kind of stuff, not living it. Safe to say she finds herself in one hell of an adventure. - - TW: if you need a tw for fighting, violence, weapons, blood, death, etc. I would read with caution (I don't get into any gory details, but there are scenes w/ this) I will put tw's for the more violent scenes.Complete

I dare to ask. He sits back at the wall staring at me. He runs his eyes down my body and slowly smirks. "Yes," "Good," I say digging my fork into the pasta. I then place the pasta into the carrots... Playing with my food. I have been scolded for this many times when I was back in the Ordinary world. Now there is no one to do that for me. Asher comes closer to me and I could sense the burnt wood in him. I smile as he wraps his arms around me. "Your mine. Only I can look at you that way. Only I can touch you. Only I can kiss you. Understand?" He asks me. I nod. He places a kiss on my lips and a kiss on my collarbone. "Good," I peek at my lashes again to find golden boy looking elsewhere. Yet, they don't know it until they reach the age of eighteen. Their birth are special. All corresponding to nature and it's element. Many are rare some are common. But not everyone is an element. Some are Ordinary. But there are some elements that are not meant to mix. Fire and water. The only elements that won't go. But when Asher and Sky meet it is a new challenge. Sky try's her best to avoid Asher. But what happens when Asher crosses her line? What happens when Skylar's secret leaks through the entire Elemental world. Will Asher be able to save her?
