Andres was a child made in Hecate's image. He was her descendant, and it was his job to go wherever there was magic and, on her orders, take it or grant to them. he did this for years never staying in one place to long. He drains the magic of the candle as a trial to see how the family handles the loss of their gift and if they would blame Mirabel, the only gift-less child born of the family.
