Even if you haven't read them, almost everyone has heard of the epic Lord of the Rings trilogy. Ok, I'll admit it, I haven't read them. But I have read and watched the more recent Hobbit book, and movie trilogy. I was completely blown away after watching the final instalment in the series, The Battle of the Five Armies. This is another short collection of hastily written poems, this time to honor a truly magnificent classic. Enjoy.

Eilin Firebeard will find herself in Erebor at the end of the battle of the five armies. There she will have to come to terms with how different she really is. She will also meet a legend who will teach her that bard songs just barely scratch the surface of the man the world knows as the hero. That they are not enough to show the grim reality that forged the hero's stony personality. Thorin's eyes were reflective, "Master Baggins the world thinks that dwarves are born from stone and to stone they must return. Shall we let them believe that or tell them the truth? That we love only once and it lasts forever, and do you believe that is a blessing or a curse?"
