Laura met and fell in love with Clint Barton, whom she married. Both Laura and Clint joined S.H.I.E.L.D., codenamed Agent 19 and Hawkeye, respectively. When Laura decided to retire, Nick Fury excluded her from S.H.I.E.L.D.'s files. She and Clint settled down on a farmhouse in Missouri, where they could live off-grid. There, in 2001, she will give birth to their first child which will be a boy. They named him Y/N Francis Barton. Y/N will be trained by his father and later, by Natasha Romanoff with whom he will make aunt-like relationship.
