Translucent: A Divergent FanFiction

Amity are always slammed with this statement, especially by the Candor. Amity values peace the most, but in order to have it, some go in extreme measures just to have it.

Society is divided into five factions; Abnegation: the selfless, Candor: the honest, Erudite: the intelligent, Dauntless: the brave, and Amity: the kind. But there is Divergent. Divergence cannot be categorized or controlled, which threaten that system. They must be eliminated at all costs as they are dangerous.

But for sixteen year old, Annabeth “Beth” Cypress, she knows she’s not what her family wants her to be. The kind. The peaceful. Amity. She doesn’t feel like she’s just that. After life-threatening test results from her Aptitude Test, her choice to survive is limited.

But when up roaring situations happen in her old faction, she feels she has lived in a lie all her life until she was sixteen, around people, who society thought they were.
