Those three words can hold very different connotations to many people. To some he is a peerless visionary unlike anything the world has seen before, who will change everything we are and will be in the future. To others he is a madman bent on remaking the world in his image through the use of stolen technology he has no right to monopolize. Anyone who knows him will tell you how dangerous and unpredictable he can be. Everyone will tell you he should be treated with extreme caution. And yet not even the people closest to him can tell you what, exactly, he hopes to achieve.

When asked, he only responds with a sly, knowing grin and a two simple words: "An end."

DPG Labs tells the story of Derek Peter Goetz, the man who would change the world.

DPG Labs is science run amok. Genetically engineered monsters roam the uncharted areas of a recovered research facility, both fighting for and against the people who work there. Two diametrically opposed AI's, a shackled cyber god and a relentless hive mind each prepare to assimilate the other. Weapons capable of changing the very nature of warfare are appearing in the hands of criminal organizations across the globe; one of which seems to be unusually organized. Two groups that want Goetz dead for their own reasons are pushed past a line that shouldn't be crossed. Humans with strange abilities are showing up all over the world, but almost as soon as they are identified mysterious agents pick them up and they are never heard from again.

DPG Labs is many things.

But most importantly it is a beginning.
