From the cities of Corneria, to the toxic wastelands of Venom, tragedy is unavoidable. The shadow of an evil empire slowly creeps over the Lylat System. After witnessing the slaughter of your entire squad, you find yourself hopelessly outnumbered and outgunned in the streets of Corneria City. Behind enemy lines, you find a defeated Fox McCloud in need of your help. The hero who had saved your planet time and time again now needed your help. Together, you will do everything you can to avenge this massacre. Though freedom seems like a small flame slowly smoldering under the pressure of the evil juggernauts, you will do everything within your ability to keep hope alive.
