In this story Ben Reilly, aka Scarlet Spider. Is cloned 8 year's earlier just as Peter Parker had begin to fully understand himself as Spider-Man. After helping Peter take care of The Jackle, Ben joins the Parker family. However, Ben gets a chance to join a private school for the smarest kids in China. While on his way there, Ben's private jet was targeted and the left him the only person alive.
