Fire, water, earth and air. The four elements of nature.
In a world where peace lasts for thousands of years at a time and everyone becomes a Master of one of the four elements, Evil begins to startle the Lasting Peace. And that is when the gods must choose one or more Masters, who masters all four elements. Only such a Master can give the people hope that they'll win in the battle against Evil. Such Master is called a Black.
