When Kendra gets chosen on her eighteen birthday, she has no other option but to leave everything behind to live with her new master; a dark, dangerous man capable of ending her existence and her family's with the lift of a finger. Preview Into Book. I was taught to hate werewolves because my father told me they killed my mother. But when I looked into the green eyes, I saw how scared he was. Or maybe it was something else I saw in those deeps. He's hurt. My inner voice said, but I pushed it aside. My heart ached as I saw the cuts and bruises that he had all over him.
