With any trace of her existence destroyed and her home no longer safe, she takes refuge with a group of renegades who have dedicated their lives to overriding the death date system. Assigned to assist those who monitor the CCTV cameras within the city, Kacie stumbles across the footage of the night she was meant to die – but something about the tape just doesn't add up. Almost as if something, or someone is missing.

Before I even give a description I need to say one thing: This story is something I wrote to give all my friends as a Christmas present, but I didn't do what most people would. What I did was I wrote each friend a different ending. There are 21 different endings to this one story. The first-I think-ten parts-the ones that are pretty much titled by seemingly random number-are the same in all of the versions of the story. After that I just have the extra endings. I know--it's confusing. Deyanira was born with a tattoo all the way up her right arm that clearly showed "140256:00:00." Little did she know that this "tattoo" was a countdown to the end of the world-the end that she would cause. The marking changed each second as the bomb that was Deyanira ticked just a second closer to destruction. On Deyanira's fifteenth birthday, she meets the ghost of Zaviera, the timebomb of planet Abiit, who has come to warn her that the bomb will go off when she turns exactly sixteen years old. Deyanira and her friends Lieta, Aubrey and Andy now have only one year to save the world.

He compliments her, makes her feel bubbly. She feels like he loves her, and she loves him. Then things get a little weird when he asks her personal questions. Not thinking twice, she answers all of them. Cathy feels guilty afterward, and never wants to talk to him again. But he wants to meet her. Little did she know his visit will be soon and blood curdling.
