Laurie grew up at a young age going in and out of the foster system since birth. She developed into being rebellious yet courageous, defensive, and reserved through the hardships she faced in each home. One day her foster parents received a phone call saying that they located some of her family after 15 long years. She is to move in with the Curtis brothers that are her new Half-brothers and only family. However, her only goal is to find her mother and nothing would keep her from that.
She will face dangers while in town and lives in fear of her obsessed foster father finding her. Will she find her mother? Will she fall in love with this town and the people within it? Will she find the freedom she has been seeking all her life and will she begin to feel that warmness formed from family and love?
