The homodracen are a race under attack.  Bred hundreds of years ago between dragons and shapeshifters, the homodracen have the amazing capability to turn into dragons.  
The humans have not taken kindly to their neighbors and now, centuries after the first homodracen tribe settled, man has taken it upon themselves to rid their world of the dragon-men. 
Now, Aaren, the last of the eastern tribe, must make her way north, to be with the last surviving homodracen. But when she stumbles across an abandoned cathedral on the treacherous northern mountain pass, will fate intervene?  And will Aaren find a new home in the ruined church governed by the mysterious, and dangerously handsome Ira?
