Fifteen-Year-old hypochondriac Kara loves music. She plays it and listens to it like its her life. Its the only thing that gets her through her panic attacks. But when her earache turns out to be something more than an earache, Kara ends up deaf, and doesn't have her music. She has to learn to deal with her silent world. The Silence Between Us
After an accident in eighth grade, Louisa Kelley was blind. Every day was a struggle for her as she tried to adjust to life both at school and at home, but life got easier with practice.
